New international conference and accommodation facility in a garden setting close to Gauteng Metropolitan and O.R. Tambo International Airport.
The facilities include, overnight accommodation for approximately 120 guests (2/3 bed units with en-suite bathrooms), conference halls which can accommodate in excess of 200 delegates, several breakaway locations, 200 seated Chapel by the lake.
Waste Water Challenge
The Emseni Christian Conference and Retreat Centre is situated in clay (black cotton) and the sewage was not soaking away, but elevated to the surface. To exacerbate the situation, this centre had to incur huge monthly costs to evacuate their conservancy tank twice a month.
Sewage Treatment Solution
The 10-cube WWT plant was installed and the clear, clean and odourless effluent is used to irrigate the beautiful and tranquil gardens and also flows into the garden water feature.
